Yokohama tweaks senior management roles
Yokohama Rubber has announced four senior management changes. The first of these to take effect is Hirohisa Hazama’s relinquishing of his position as general manager of Yokohama’s Tire R&D department. This change took effect 1 January 2012. Hazama will continue in his existing roles as corporate officer and general manager of the Tire Global Technical division. Yokohama has not named a successor for the Tire R&D role.
As of 1 February 2012 the responsibilities of three further directors will change: Sinichi Suzuki will drop the roles of general manager of Yokohama’s Tire Global Production division and general manager of the Tire production HR department. At the same time, he will pick up the position of president of Yokohama R.P.Z. L.L.C. Suzuki’s tenure as managing corporate officer and general manager of the Russia Tire Plant division will continue.
Tadashi Suzuki will take over Sinichi Suzuki’s former roles of general manager of the Tire production HR department and general manager of the Tire Global Production division, while ending his time in charge of Yokohama’s MIS department. He will continue as a corporate officer.
Fumio Morita takes on Tadashi Suzuki’s previously held responsibility for Yokohama’s MIS department. Additionally, Morita will continue in all existing offices, namely director and corporate officer, in charge of the Corporate Finance & Accounting department and the Internal Audit department, general manager of the Corporate Finance & Accounting department, in charge of the Global procurement division and, last but not least, president of Yokohamagomu Finance Co. Ltd.
