Snap-on announces 7th and 8th TechEd seminars
Snap-on is running the seventh and eighth in its series of highly successful TechEd seminars – ‘Basic Engine Diagnostics’ and ‘Air Conditioning & Climate Control’ – the first six of which have attracted well over 25,000 paying attendees over the past five and a half years.
The first in the series of TechEd seminars focussed on ‘Diagnosing Intermittent Faults’, while the second covered ‘Advanced Diagnostics Information’. The third covered ‘Diesel’, the fourth CANbus. The fifth was ‘Beyond the Code’ and the most recent looked at ‘Petrol Engine Technology’. Delivered by Snap-on’s specially appointed team of dedicated Diagnostic Product Specialists (DPSs) these have proved extremely attractive to technicians to the extent that strong demand is already building for this seventh and eighth series.
Open to all technicians, not just those using Snap-on branded equipment, Snap-on’s DPSs, the seminars are designed to appeal to every level of technician from all workshop types at 55 locations around the UK. They are conducted at a nominal charge of £45 – which includes a £20 Snap-on Tools voucher, refreshments and copies of the seminar notes and hand-outs. Each presentation lasts for approximately 2 hours.
The seventh seminar in the series of TechEd seminars – ‘Basic Engine Diagnostics’ – is about to get underway. As the result of technician demand this new seminar will cover What affects compression; Diagnostic techniques; Scantool techniques; The fault finding process; Component and relationship testing; Vehicle case studies.
Due shortly the eighth TechEd seminar ‘Air Conditioning & Climate Control’ will cover ‘Principles of Air Con; System layout; How does it work? Airflow diagnostics; Using manifold gauges for diagnostics; Electronic controlled system and diagnostics: Future development.
