Romania welcomes Nokian’s 900th Vianor outlet

Only five months after reporting the opening of its 800th Vianor outlet, Nokian Tyres says it has reached the 900 mark. The company’s 900th tyre and car service centre has begun operations in Bucharest, Romania.

Nokian entered Romania last autumn. The Finnish company says its activities in this country form part of its drive to strengthen its position in the Balkans; Nokian has also increased its partner network in Bulgaria and plans to start operations in Serbia early this year. Through its Vianor activities, Nokian intends to further strengthen its distribution network in the Balkans, a region where it says growth is being supported by new winter tyre regulations.
