New Trelleborg CFO to start in second quarter
The Trelleborg Group has named its replacement for Carolina Dybeck Happe, who during the first quarter of this year will step down from her position as chief financial officer in order to take up a similar role with another company. Ulf Berghult, who returns to Trelleborg from automotive, caravan and marine product manufacturer and supplier Dometic Group, will assume the position of CFO during the second quarter of 2012.
“With Ulf, we get a CFO with nearly 25 years of experience of controlling and finance from the industrial sector,” stated Peter Nilsson, president and CEO of Trelleborg. “We are therefore delighted to be able to recruit him. Ulf has comprehensive experience of mergers and acquisitions in addition to change management and financial control in international business environment. He has a strong operational and business focus, which we value highly.”
Before his current position as CFO of the Dometic Group, Berghult held a number of senior positions including CFO of the Thule Group and Rolls Royce Marine Systems. Between 1987 and 1995, he was also employed as controller within the Trelleborg Group.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to take on the role as CFO of such an international and dynamic operation as Trelleborg,” Berghult commented. “I am strongly motivated to use my skills and experience to further strengthen Trelleborg.”
