British motorcycle dealers vote Dunlop RoadSmart tyre best accessory

Dunlop’s RoadSmart motorcycle tyre range has won plaudits from UK dealerships, who voted it the “Best Bike Accessory” at the British Dealer News Industry Awards 2011. The award was presented at the British Dealer News Awards Evening on Sunday 22 January 2012. The event followed the opening day of the Motorcycle Trade Expo at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

Dominic Clifford, Motorcycle Business Unit manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the award for ‘Best Bike Accessory’. As the award is based on votes that have been cast by motorcycle dealerships, we are pleased that the RoadSmart sports touring tyre range has been recommended by those at the heart of the motorcycle industry.

Dunlop has recently launched RoadSmart II; a sports touring tyre with the company’s race-derived Jointless Belt and Multi-Tread technologies, designed to improve mileage and performance in key handling areas. “The Dunlop RoadSmart revolutionised the sports touring tyre market and we are confident that the RoadSmart II will continue to build on that success” concluded Clifford.
