Analysts: Conti’s 4Q revenue could beat 3Q
Continental AG’s management is confident enough that its fourth quarter revenue will beat the third quarter to tell analyst of the upgrade. According to Morgan Stanley, this implies a slight upgrade to consensus numbers which following 7.7 billion euros for the third quarter currently stand at 7.6 billion for the final quarter of the year.
With Morgan Stanley’s estimate currently standing at 7.2 billion euros for the quarter and bearing in mind the fact that Continental has an outperforming track record after beating its fourth quarter target last year, this needs an 8 per cent upgrade.
All this positive feeling led the analysts to write: “Conti is our top OE parts play with higher exposure to the premium car market…” and “…with positive commentary from the German OEMs heading into new year” these results look likely to pan out well.
