Alba launches new data recorder

Alba Diagnostics has launched the new ALB30920 EOBD Black Box Data Recorder which the company began exclusively distributing at the start of 2012. According to the company, this ultra-compact all-in-one vehicle and driving performance management system continuously logs all engine parameters.

Technicians need only connect ALB30920 to the vehicle EOBD connector and information will begin to store automatically. To review the data collected, you have to connect to the PC via a USB cable and Data Management Software.

The new device’s memory capacity allows storage of 1,440 hours of data, including: time/date, distance, speed, hard starts and braking, MPG, and fuel cost. Results can be viewed in graphs of speed, acceleration, deceleration and idle time. It is compatible with all OBDII/EOBD cars, SUVs, light-duty trucks, and mini-vans.
