Trelleborg begins recruitment for new CFO
Less than a year after Carolina Dybeck Happe’s appointment as chief financial officer (CFO) of the Trelleborg Group, the Swedish company has announced Dybeck Happe will step down from her position in the first quarter of next year and return to former employer, Assa Abloy, where she will take on the position of group CFO as of 1 March 2012.
“My decision to leave Trelleborg Group has not been an easy one,” commented Dybeck Happe. “Working as CFO of Trelleborg has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Trelleborg is an exciting company with a strong international corporate culture and considerable future potential. I have appreciated working closely with Peter Nilsson and am impressed by my colleagues and the other employees of the company. However, after comprehensively assessing the situation, I have now decided to assume the position of CFO at Assa Abloy.”
“I would like to thank Carolina for the work that she has done as CFO,” commented Trelleborg president and CEO Peter Nilsson. “Her operational experience and initiatives have further strengthened our financial control and monitoring, which we will benefit from greatly in the future. I am sorry to see Carolina leave, but I wish her all the best in her role as CFO of Assa Abloy.”
Trelleborg reports that the process to recruit a new CFO is already underway.
