Starco extends Otto Just supply agreement

Starting with its partnership with tyre maker Giti and later through its own production of wheels, over the past decade Starco has developed a strong presence as a supplier of wheels to OEM customers in the European trailer and caravan sector. To service this sector Starco has opted, despite having its own established distribution and logistics network, to renew its long-standing cooperation with Germany’s Otto Just. The German wheel systems supplier and distributor serves the German-speaking and Nordic caravan and trailer markets

Under this latest, renewed agreement, Starco will continue to supply Otto Just with steel wheels, and Otto Just will continue to market wheel products to the trailer and caravan markets in its sales regions under the OJ brand name. Starco will supply all its markets outside of this area. In announcing the renewal of its agreement with Otto Just, Starco notes that the global trailer and caravan market has begun to recover and demand for OEM and aftermarket wheels is growing. For this reason, Starco believes the agreement represents a “major rationalisation of the company’s distribution strategy, giving Starco access to a greater share of the trailer and caravan wheel market.”
