ATS Euromaster wins van equipment supplier award
ATS Euromaster has been named Van Equipment Supplier of the Year in the Fleet Van Awards 2011. Judges praised the organisation for standing out as “the best example of a totally van fleet-focused company”. The Award recognised ATS Euromaster’s £10 million investment during 2010 and 2011 in extending its offer to the van (and car) market, with new services including nitrogen tyre inflation, air-conditioning recharging, computerised wheel alignment, fault diagnostics and electronic brake servicing.
ATS Euromaster has also introduced vehicle maintenance servicing to 100 of its centres, with a range of menu-driven servicing options (and further locations planned). Similarly, it has ramped-up its MOT offering and now performs Class IV MOTs (up to 3,000kg gvw) at 98 centres and Class VII MOTs (up to 3,500kg) at 23 sites. The company expects to introduce an additional 15 Class IV and Class VII MOT stations during 2012.
Peter Fairlie, group sales director at ATS Euromaster, says: “The light commercial vehicle sector accounts for a significant and growing part of our business, with sales totalling more than £30 million in our last financial year. A company doesn’t get voted the best in the country at what it does without an incredibly strong team working at all levels and in all departments. Our achievements over the last 18 months have really been a group effort.”
Fairlie added: “We’re currently tracking a 20 per cent growth in key accounts taking advantage of our non-tyre capabilities – backed up by our commitment to only fitting parts which are manufactured to original equipment standards.”
The Fleet Van Awards, now in their fourth year, were presented in London on 7 December 2011.
