Tyrecor and Infinity partner for South African golf day

Infinity Tyres’ involvement with tyre industry golfing events continued with its support of the annual St Francis Bay Golf Club fund-raising competition in the Eastern Cape Province. The tyre brand’s support was given in conjunction with its South African partner, Tyrecor. Around 300 players took part at this year’s three-day event. Charl de Villiers, manager of Tyrecor, stated that: “The Eastern Cape is one of our star regions and we have managed to build a tremendous following for the Infinity brand.

“With this in mind we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us and when this opportunity came along we immediately knew we had to be involved. The three days were enjoyed by all and we hope to be back next year”.

Harjeev Kandhari, Infinity Tyres’ managing director, said that the event “brought a lot of us together in support of Infinity Tyres and golf in South Africa in general, and it shows how much Infinity is committed to supporting local sports as well as our partners, wherever they may be. We hope to be able to support them again next year”.

During the event no one managed to hit a hole in one and the money was donated by Infinity Tyres to the club, which was accepted by Rowan Nicholls, chairman of the St Francis Bay Golf Club.
