Trelleborg to show new TM1000 at Agritechnica 2011

Trelleborg Wheel Systems is planning to present its new TM1000 tyres at the Agritechnica show to be held in Hannover, Germany, from 15 to 19 November, 2011. According to the company, the stand theme “flying into the future”, represents the aim and values of the Trelleborg initiative for the future of agriculture. This will be illustrated by an aircraft fitted with TM1000 High Power agricultural tyres.

Innovations displayed at the show will include the new giant 2.3 metre tyre IF 750/75R46 TM1000 High Power with its 46-inch rim, the new IF 650/65R34 TM1000 High Power tire, the THK concept of agricultural rim, the TMBlueTM in size 650/65R38 and the 750/60R30.5 Twin Radial tire with new Tread design.

The TM1000 High Power range has reportedly been enlarged with the introduction of six further sizes between 30 and 42 inches to fit the newest breed of high power tractors.

The new 750/60 R30.5 size tyre is said to have superior floatation characteristics on trailers and slurry tankers, to further respect the soil and improve driver’s comfort by lowering noise and “long tyre life”.
