Point S enters Norway
Following its US launch, the point S network has announced its entry into another new market – this time in Scandinavia. On 23 November, point S Development management signed a contract with the independent dealer network “Fagdekk”, which is made up of 43 service centres throughout Norway.
“This accession means that 22 European countries, along with the USA, are now members of the ever-growing point S family,” commented point S Development managing director Jürgen Benz. Point S initially anticipated Norway’s entry into the network would take place in 2012; “I’m particularly pleased that we were able to enact our co-operation before the end of this year,” Benz added. During the course of 2012 the company now plans to find a suitable partner in Sweden.
Point S first entered Scandinavia two years ago with the signing of Finnish dealer network Full Fit Team, who today operates 25 service centres. Upon concluding its agreement with Fagdekk, management at point S expressed their confidence in successfully completing their Scandinavian expansion plans next year.
