Nokian to expand Vianor Industrial network
Nokian Tyres has announced it will open four new Vianor Industrial outlets in Sweden at the start of next year, and the company says it also plans to expand the concept into Russian and Kazakhstan. At present 34 Vianor Industrial outlets are in operation; Norway is the currently the largest single Vianor Industrial market, with 16 outlets, followed by Sweden, with 12 outlets. The Ukraine and Nokian’s home market of Finland each boast three Vianor Industrial outlets.
“At these four new outlets, the technical training of staff has already been more or less completed,” commented Leif Karlsson, heavy tyres product manager at Vianor AB, referring to the company’s plans for Sweden. “The mapping of and investments in equipment needed in tyre repairs and installations are also currently ongoing.”
The Vianor Industrial concept was developed in cooperation with the Vianor tyre and fast fit chain. “The strength of the concept lies in Vianor’s improved ability to be close to the customer while understanding and anticipating their different tyre needs as well as to develop solutions for both product and service related problems,” explained Juha Lehtinen, Vianor marketing manager for heavy vehicle tyres. “Cooperation with Nokian Heavy Tyres enables the continuous chain of information and development to flow between the products’ manufacturer, retailer and end user.”
