French Westlake distributor announces expansion plans

Distri Cash, exclusive distributor of the Westlake tyre brand in France, recently announced plans to more than double the number of retail outlets it operates over the next three years. Laurent Charlé, purchase manager at Distri Cash, explained “we currently have nine shops and we intend to increase this number to 20 to 25 over the next three years.” On the wholesale side of the business, at present Distri Cash services its 6,000 or so customers from eight warehouses, the last of which entered operation last year.

The company distributes some 300,000 Westlake tyres a year in France. According to Charlé, the company’s “current volume of business and our partnership with Westlake Tyres are also the main reasons behind this plan” to increase its presence. Jorge Crespo, European general sales manager for the Al Dobowi Group, commented that “Distri Cash is a very important part of Westlake’s European strategy. Their professionalism and hard work ensures that we will continue to have a long-lasting working relationship with them.”
