Cam Systems commercial module adopted by All Fleet Services
Cam Systems has announced that its third party integration module for the commercial vehicle market – 3PI – is being adopted by All Fleet Services, provider of the Goodyear Dunlop ActionLine. After implementation, the AFS call centre will be able to take an inbound call, issue the SMR job via 3PI directly into Cam’s UniSerV Call Logging module, creating a service record and reducing double handling in log management between AFS and Actionline service providers.
This network processing module is made available by Cam to organisations wishing to become a 3PI partner through an Application Programming Interface, which enables them to access 3PI online facilities via a simple interface to their own systems. 3PI sits above Cam’s Document Manager, the breakdown form processing module within its UniSerV platform. This new feature will extend functionality to deal with initial call handling.
Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems, says: “Where this 3PI partnership or ‘handshake’ is in place, time and cost around the whole administrative process of logging calls, sending and receiving job documentation and reconciling work completed with customers for payment is greatly reduced. As much as possible, 3PI will negate the requirement to process the same information more than once. In addition, inaccuracies which occur because a process is not duplicated exactly or inaccurately are avoided.”
