Avon Tyres launches new websites

Avon Tyres has revamped its website and the new version is now live at www.avon-tyres.co.uk. The updated site features “a completely re-designed layout to give improved access to information on products for cars, 4x4s, motorcycles and vans.” According to the company, the site points to local Avon Tyres outlets through the “Find A Dealer” section. It also links to Avon Motorsport’s website, which has also been enhanced as one of the company’s chief marketing tools.

Avon sees the redevelopment of its website as an additional resource for its dealers across the UK. While consumers can utilize the site to locate their nearest Avon outlet, dealer staff themselves use the company website extensively as a product information resource.

Cooper Tire’s European marketing communications manager, Sarah McRoberts, said: “Our main objective for the new site was to make it much more intuitive for consumers to use and locate the right tyres. We’ve brought each of the areas together so that people can navigate the site easily.”

The new Avon Tyres Motorsport site, which can be accessed directly at avonmotorsport.com, features detailed specifications of the company’s full motorsport tyre range, from vintage motorcycle products to modern sidecar tyres, and from single-seaters and sportscars to the company’s dominant rallycross tyre.

McRoberts continued: “We wanted to make the technical details of our motorsport tyres as easy to find as those for road going vehicles. We have one of the largest selections of competition tyres in the world and it’s great to be able to offer them all through the new site.”
