Tire Factory posts record 3Q sales
Portland-based independent tyre dealer group Tire Factory has announced record comparable-store sales growth through the third quarter of 2011, reports Tire Review. According to CEO John Kreidel, comparable-store (those stores that have been a member for at last one year) sales were up more than 15 per cent and member purchases were up some 37 per cent year-over-year through three quarters.
“Our members are doing very well with many of the new value add programs. We are on track to payout record volume bonuses and ad rebates in excess of $2 million dollars for 2011,” said Kreidel. “Tire Factory owners are winning more business every single day. Our members have focused their purchases with our VIP key vendor program featuring the best recognized tyre brands in the world.”
Tire Factory, he said, has aggressive membership growth plans in the markets serviced by its Portland, Salt Lake and Denver distribution centers. “Our goal is to add a minimum of 20 qualified independent tyre dealers in 2012,” Kreidel commented. Tire Factory members operate more than 200 retail locations serving 15 western states.
