MAXAM appoints North American manager
MAXAM Tire S.a.r.l has announced the appointment of Tim Good as the company's North American Territory Manager, effective October 2011. Tim Good previously worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years holding a variety of positions, including manager global customer accounts, OTR Tires. In this latter position, which he held for the past 22 years, Tim Good focused on the company's major OTR customers throughout the world. He holds an MBA in marketing from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Malone College.
Speaking of his appointment, Tim Good said: “My brief is to build up the North American distribution for the MAXAM brand of all-steel radial OTR tyres and it is a task which I am very much looking forward to. MAXAM tyres enjoy a reputation for being a quality product at a cost-effective price and this is the message that we will concentrate on getting across to the market.”
Ian Thomas, CEO of MAXAM Tire, said “We are delighted to have on board someone with Tim’s depth of knowledge and experience of the OTR tyre sector, and we are sure his appointment will prove extremely positive for MAXAM tyres in the North American market.”
MAXAM Tire S.a.r.l has its headquarters in Luxembourg. MAXAM tyres are designed in Europe and manufactured by a Chinese producer at a purpose-built factory.
