Aston Martin signs global deal with Hunter

Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin will use the Hunter HawkEye four wheel imaging aligner and GSP9700 Road Force Balancer to be used in its dealerships around the world. Paul Beaurain, managing director of Pro-Align, which exclusively distributes Hunter products in the UK said: “It’s a real feather in our cap for Hunter to have the endorsement of such a prestigious sports car manufacturer as Aston Martin.” Pro-Align worked with Aston Martin to gain its approval for the deal.

“We’ve always appreciated that Hunter aligners and balancers are the best-of-the best and so to be recognised in this way is proof of that,” Beaurain continues. Aston Martin has 136 dealerships globally, with many US sites already enjoying the benefits of using Hunter aligners and balancers. The deal also means that for a car to be covered under warranty, an Aston Martin dealer is required to use the Hunter aligner and balancer when carrying out any alignment or wheel balancing work.

The Hunter HawkEye imaging aligner uses digital imaging cameras to take constant images of the reflective targets, attached to the wheels. The Road Force Balancer measures the radial force variation in tyres by applying a load to the wheel and tyre combination.

Beaurain concluded: “Workshops using the Hunter range enjoy increased productivity, improved customer service and extra revenue generating opportunities and we are looking forward to working closely with many of Aston Martin’s dealerships across the UK.”
