Mike Wise to lead Delticom’s new online feet tyre business

Former Kwik-Fit Fleet boss Mike Wise has joined the largest online retailer in Europe, Delticom AG, to head up a new online fleet tyre business. Wise had a long and distinguished career in the tyre business and during his time as managing director of Kwik-Fit Fleet build up a commanding market share for the company in this sector.

According to a report in Fleet New, Wise commented on his new role at Delticom Wise by saying: “We will principally be targeting the SME market, however, any business large or small will be able to benefit from opening an account which can be done simply by visiting our website. We will be focussing on supplying tyres for cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles…and in addition to a vast range of tyres we will be able to deliver low continental style pricing.”

Kwik-Fit named Peter Lambert as its new sales director for Kwik Fit Fleet effective 2 August after the company announced that Mike Wise had decided to “explore other opportunities” at the end of July.
