Maxxis Rewards reinstated via Maxxis International website
Maxxis has announced that it is bringing back its “hugely popular” Maxxis Rewards programme for the remainder of 2011 and into next year. The initiative was suspended temporarily during the summer while the brand’s exclusive distribution agreement with Grouptyre was dissolved. Maxxis Rewards was previously run in conjunction with the wholesaler, and while Maxxis says it will continue to supply Grouptyre in the foreseeable future, the incentive programme will now be run through the company’s own website. Retailers are encouraged to register through the Rewards microsite, or to contact Denise Prout at Maxxis Internation UK.
From 1 October, qualifying dealers who buy Maxxis car, van and 4×4 tyres under the new distribution arrangements will be in with a chance of winning prizes, including an all expenses paid luxury holiday. Maxxis Rewards will run throughout the final three months of this year and during the first quarter of 2012. Dealers who were originally registered will have to re-register to be eligible for the rewards, as the scheme will be run under the new distribution arrangements, and any purchases made in the first half of 2011 will not be eligible for the VIP trip to Thailand.
The Thai holiday – with stays in the Phi Phi Island Cabana Resort Centre, famed for its tropical beauty and relaxing style, and the vibrant city of Bangkok – awaits the top 15 dealers. The prize also includes a visit to the Maxxis factory in Rayong, which now boasts an output of 42,000 passenger car radials and 30,000 truck and bus radials a day following what Maxxis calls a major redevelopment to increase capacity. During a special guided tour of the facilities the prize-winners will see for themselves the complete manufacturing process, from the delivery of raw materials through to despatch.
The programme retains the format that was introduced at the beginning of this year, with £250 worth of Love2Choose credits going to the quarterly prize draw winners so that they can choose their own prizes. All qualifying retailers who participate in the Maxxis Rewards during 2011/12 can earn cash to spend with high street retailers, via their own personalised Maxxis Love2Choose Rewards card, as well as point of sale items and the latest promotional clothing.
“The Maxxis Rewards scheme is a thank you, acknowledging the support we receive from our dealers, so we are delighted not only to reinstate it for the rest of this year, but also to extend it into the first quarter of 2012,” says Maxxis International UK’s managing director Derek McMartin. “The programme has been incredibly successful in helping to establish Maxxis as a major brand and we look forward to building on this achievement.”
