Irish partners sign up to Conti360° network
The Conti360° Fleet Services network in Europe is growing; in addition to the service package’s introduction into Hungary next month, Ireland now boasts a Conti360° presence. Continental Tyres has announced the establishment of a fully integrated partner network there, with 23 dealers and 37 sites across the country signing up.
“This is a really exciting time for us in Ireland,” commented Continental Tyres Network Manager Laura Johnston, Continental Tyres Network Manager. “Our strong customer offering has meant that we have been able to expand the network and offer operators tangible ways to keep their costs down. We are already seeing a rise in new customers, especially from companies who operate internationally in mainland UK and Europe.”
In a statement announcing the launch of an Irish network, Continental describes its 360° Fleet Services as combining an “array of products and services specifically designed for European road transport customers.” The modular package on offer covers all tyre-related services and aims to reduce operating costs while improving cost controls.
Conti’s overview of Conti360° Fleet Services is as follows: During the life of the tyre, the operator can receive data and condition reports analysed by Continental experts, as part of a FleetManagementReport. If required, Conti360° Fleet Services can also provide all cost and usage data for the truck tyres as a fleet cost calculation. In the event that a breakdown should occur, ContiBreakdownService is available to all Conti360° Fleet Services customers and gives access to over 2,500 partners across Ireland and Europe, covering 37 countries. At the end of the tyre’s life, customers can fall back on Continental’s professional casing service, ContiCasingManagement, an important step in Continental’s ContiLifeCycle cradle-to-grave package. This covers everything from the collection of used tyres; casing inspection; casing acceptance (depending on their condition), re-use of the casing for ContiRe and disposal of non-retreadable casings.
