HD Booster takes jump starters to a ‘higher level’ says Winntec
Jump starters are considered by many to be a necessary piece of in kit modern workshops, and Winntec Europe opines that any jump starter is only as good as the performance of its charger. By combining these two items in one unit, Winntec believes it has developed a ground-breaking product – its all-new HD Booster for cars, trucks, other heavy vehicles and machinery. In announcing the HD Booster’s launch, the company says it has taken the concept of professional jump starters to an “even higher level of efficient performance.”
“For the very first time in the industry we have combined our totally unique portable Jump Starter unit with the market’s most ‘intelligent’ battery charger from Ctek,” commented Winntec sales director Ralph Dubbeldam. “This is the first time that such an exciting, powerful duo of vehicle starting equipment has been available in the world and we confidentially believe it will help to shape the ongoing future of this market sector.”
Winntec reports its new product – which is primarily aimed at professional users in garages, workshops and road assistance operations that deal with truck and haulage fleets – is already arousing keen interest in the global market. “Our Winntec Booster range, inclusive of its Ctek battery charger, opens up an extensive choice of possibilities for use in a wide range of additional markets including agricultural and industrial vehicle maintenance, military vehicles, lawnmowers, motorcycles and even around the home or on boats,” Dubbeldam added. “In fact, this highly adaptable product can be used for any 12 volt charging application, therefore providing a truly multi-function operation for all battery problems. It is also available in 24 volt variation.”
In developing the HD Booster, Winntec says it was able to achieve the level of power it aimed for through the careful selection of the best components from around the world; thus, it can boast having a product that offers quality, durability and the ability to operate and withstand severe use in harsh working environments. “It is also important to note that the batteries powering the HD Booster range originated within the aerospace industry and have the ability to deliver energy at high amperage almost instantly,” the company reports in a statement announcing the HD Booster’s introduction.
More about the Ctek electronic, automatic charger contained within the new unit – Winntec says it offers a continuous current facility in order to manage and maintain the HD Booster’s battery and assure ‘full power’ whenever used. An external fuse protects the voltmeter and Ctek charging plug to guarantee continuous functionality and an internal fuse protects against short circuits and power surges.
“This highly impressive, dynamic duo of single ultimate charge and start solutions for today’s demanding automotive market is available at an extremely competitive price that will pleasantly surprise the industry,” states Winntec. In conclusion, Ralph Dubbeldam adds: “Our new HD Booster pack complete with Ctek battery charger represents a highly original new product combination which will be primarily geared towards the 2011 winter season.”
