Blitz Rotary lifts debut at exhibition
PSV exhibition Coach and Bus Live provides Blitz Rotary with a platform to launch its new HydroLift S2 mobile column lifts. Mobile column lifts offer increased flexibility in a workshop environment both for large and small service bays and workshops.
Designed and engineered in the USA, the HydroLift S2 is assembled in the UK and, says the company, marks a step change in design and specification from existing column lifts. It is much easier for operators to use and to set up with its user friendly controls and is over 30 per cent faster than competitive lifts. With an on board battery charger for the 24V DC electric motor, there are no wires to clutter up the service bay floor, enabling full mobility on any concrete surface. With wireless exclusive controls, there is no master or slave column, therefore the lifts can be controlled from any column.
Each column has an 8,200kg. capacity and with a four or six column configuration, they can accommodate light duty passenger vehicles right up to large heavy duty PSV & CVs. They also feature adjustable forks to cope with varying wheel sizes and can be used singly, in pairs, or all together. There is also a programmable height limiter and a two speed lowering system. The control panels have LED light control which provides a live height reading and indicates the battery condition; there is also a lower to lock function and E-stop. The hydraulic cylinder is cleverly inverted in the column and the chrome piston rod is protected from debris and damage at all times, extending the life of the product and substantially reducing maintenance costs.
Another key feature is the ease in which they can be moved around the workshop, there is an automatic steering system and there is no need to manually pump the jacks up to move the columns in and out. A handy addition are the two fork lift truck pockets built into the column, which enables them to be picked up and conveniently moved around the workshop.
