22-inch Goodyear Eagles OE on luxury electric car
US specialist vehicle manufacturer Fisker describes its first-ever model, the Karma, as being “the first true electric luxury vehicle with extended range” and the “embodiment of an environmentally conscious vehicle with passion, style and performance.” Along with boasting a solar panel roof and reclaimed wood interior, the Karma sets itself apart from other cars by having 22-inch wheels fitted as standard equipment. And wrapped around these massive rims are Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tyres.
The four-door, four-passenger Karma is a series plug-in hybrid intended to combine the zero-emission benefits of an all-electric car with the full driving range of a conventional car. Because of its large 22-inch wheels and the high torque output of its electric motor, Goodyear worked with Fisker to develop high performance tyres specifically for use with the Karma’s patented EVer (electric vehicle extended range) powertrain; the Eagle F1 Supercar tyres are fitted in size 255/35/R22 on the front and 285/35/R22 at the rear.
