Two new centres added to ECP network
Euro Car Parts says many garage owners are crying out for a modern automotive parts supplier to open in their area, and thus it has been spoiled for choice when it comes to selecting new regions to enter. The company reports adding two new locations – Oxford and the Rochester area – to its network, and this pair of newcomers will be soon joined by a further two centres.
According to Euro Car Parts, for many years customers in the Oxford area have urged Euro Car Parts to open a new Branch there, yet it says this was not feasible until the right premises, location and staff could be found. However the firm has found what it believes to be the perfect location – Unit 5 on the Eyston Trading Estate, Abingdon, Oxford – and the store opened its doors on August 1st, 2011. The new Oxford centre boasts 15,000 square feet of warehouse and office space spread over two floors and has seven delivery vans backed plus 22 staff.
“Customers have waited a long time for this branch to open and we expect to not just meet their expectations but to exceed them, by being the best in the area at everything we do,” commented branch manager Rob Morrison.
Previously, the Medway towns of Rochester, Stroud, Chatham and Gillingham were serviced by Euro Car Parts’ Ashford and Canterbury branches. The company’s latest addition to its growing branch network is situated geographically right at the heart of this area, in Meridian Park, Medway City Estate. The 17,000 square feet centre’s location enables its seven delivery vehicles to commit to a 45 minute delivery service for customers within a five mile radius of the branch.
The Medway centre will not retain its status as Euro Car Parts’ latest branch for very long. The parts supplier reports it is “already putting the finishing touches” on branches is Basingstoke and Taunton; these are due to open in the coming months.
