Lassa partners with Borussia Mönchengladbach
Turkish tyre producer Lassa Tyres has sealed a partnership agreement with Borussia Mönchengladbach Football Club for the 2011/12 football season. The news follows an earlier contract that saw Lassa agree to partner with Bolton Wanderers in the UK as well as an advertising deal at RCD Espanyol in La Liga for the 2011/12 season. Both were brokered by London-based Samson Sport Consultancy.
According to company representatives, Lassa was attracted to the partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach since the club is one of the country’s most well-known, best-supported and most successful teams in the Bundesliga.
Stephan Schippers, managing director of Borussia said: “We are proud to say that we can rely on numerous strong partners behind our main and co-sponsors. This shows the attractiveness of Borussia as a communication platform for enterprises.
With the new “Premium Partnership Agreement” Lassa reports that it plans to enhance and expand the brand’s ties with fans in Germany. Halit Sensoy, director of International Sales and Marketing for Lassa Tyres said: “We are delighted to be entering into a partnership agreement with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Lassa Tyres is a growing brand that provides great value and performance for our customers, and we see many of the same values in the team at the Borussia Park Mönchengladbach! I look forward to showcasing our products to the loyal ‘Die Fohlen’ supporters.”
In Germany, Lassa markets its range of tyres for cars, vans, 4×4, SUVs and trucks via a network of three independent wholesale distributors who provide a national supply of the brand to dedicated retailers throughout Germany.
Lassa Tyres, produced by Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı Tyre Manufacturing and Trading Inc., join Dorint Hotel Mönchengladbach, the Fontys International Hogeschool Economie from Venlo, the long-standing partner Kyocera and the Jotec Service & Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH in the wide range of team partners.
