Zafco to enter into Indian Market
Zafco announced the launch of its India operations at Tyrexpo India 2011, in Chennai, which opened on 5 July. At the trade show Zafco will exhibit the Double Coin as well as Zeetex brands it carries. The set up in India will see the establishment of 84 trucking centres across Northern and Western India that will meet the demands of the industrial and commercial sector. This will also provide a foundation for ZAFCO to eventually launch into the premium segment of the tyre market.
Gopiraj KV, CEO of Zafco, commented: “Zafco has immense confidence in the buoyancy of the tyre industry in India. The three-day exhibition is the ideal platform for Zafco to introduce its diverse range of automotive products in the Indian market and take advantage of the country’s booming economy complemented with the commendable infrastructure plans to connect all of India’s corridors through the road network.”
