TAFF nomination “a great honour” – Infinity
Infinity Tyres Europe has called its nomination for the 2011 NTDA Industry Advertising Campaign TAFF Award “a great honour”. Infinity Europe’s general manager Jorge Crespo continues: “it represents a recognition by the industry of the effort and activity carried out in advertising and communication within the UK. I would really like to thank everybody who voted for us as an alternative to the way of doing things". Other nominees for the award are Continental, Hankook Tyres, Michelin Tyres and Pirelli Tyres UK, with the advertising campaign coming from print, TV, radio or Internet.
Crespo believes that this nomination proves that you don’t need to be a manufacturer to gain recognition. “It is very reassuring to see that people still appreciate and reward creativity and a fresh approach to advertising and marketing campaigns; and this really encourages our brand to continue looking at angles and to do things in a different way.”
The nomination process allows the NTDA’s members to choose candidates for each category, with the top five names entering the final voting process, which has now begun, with the distribution of forms in Tyres & Accessories’ July issue. The final results of the seventh edition of the NTDA TAFF Awards will be presented at the NTDA Annual Dinner in Birmingham, on 20 October 2011.
