Omni introduces Radar Verenti R6 tyre to US market

Omni United has introduced its new Radar-brand ultra high performance tyre, the Verenti R6 All-Season. The tyre will be M&S rated and is now available in sizes: 205/50R17, 215/50R17, 225/50R17, 235/45R17, and 225/40R18. Omni says the Verenti size expansion will continue throughout the rest of the year with the most popular OE and aftermarket sizes in the 17 to 20-inch wheel diameters.

The tyre has a Uniform Tire Quality Grading rating of 400 AA A. This grade, awarded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, is based on relative longevity (400), traction (AA being the highest level) and resistance to heat generation (A being the most resistant).

Omni says 2011 will also see the introduction of the Renegade R5 M/T, the CXS 8 Crossover CUV, the Centigrade winter tyre, and the Angler Radial STR to its range, meaning Radar will have more than 200 SKUs by the end of 2011. All of the tyres will support Radar’s revolutionary “Mobilizing Hope” campaign, and are available from more than 12,000 leading tyre retailers in the country.
