MAM adds to North America team
The MAM Software Group has announced the appointment of sales and professional services staff at its North American subsidiaries. The UK-based provider of business automation and e-commerce solutions for the automotive sector says the appointments strengthen its position as a growing force in the tyre and component aftermarket. The new appointees are Michael Moothart, Joe O'Regan, Scott Gaines, Ryan Putans (all MAM Software) and Jeff Carpenter, (Aftersoft Network NA).
In his new role as MAM Software’s national sales manager, Michael Moothart will assume responsibility for the sale of MAM’s Autopart business management software to warehouse distributors and jobbers. Moothart has 15 years of enterprise software sales experience, ten years as an aerospace engineer, and has worked for a NAPA Jobber. He was most recently an account executive at Crown Partners and previously was a business development manager at Hansen Information Technologies (now Infor).
Jeff Carpenter has joined Aftersoft Network NA as a sales representative and will be responsible for the sale of Aftersoft’s Point of Sale software solutions. During the past five years, Carpenter has been working in various capacities within the automotive aftermarket. His industry experience includes working as a technician and salesman for a nationwide auto centre chain. He was most recently employed as a sales representative and software implementation specialist.
Joe O’Regan, Scott Gaines and Ryan Putans join the rapidly expanding MAM Software professional services department and will help deliver product configuration and customer training services. They will provide tailored configuration and comprehensive tuition to ensure that customers maximize productivity and take full advantage of their new software.
Commenting on the new appointments, MAM Software Group CEO Mike Jamieson said: “These specialist personnel will be instrumental in the continued expansion of MAM Software in North America. Greater market recognition is generating higher demand for our products and solutions. The appointment of Michael and Jeff will enable us to respond to the growing interest being shown in MAM Software.
“The additions to our professional services team are in direct response to the growing demand we’re experiencing,” Jamieson added. “Increasing sales is creating significant load on our installation and training capacities. The three new staff members we have recruited will supplement existing resources and further extend our ability to meet demand and ensure that our customers maximise the return on their investment in our software.”
