Lassa exhibits wide range
Lassa tyres, produced by Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı Tyre Manufacturing and Trading Inc, (Turkey’s largest tyre producer and Europe’s seventh largest producer), exhibited its range of products at Autopromotec.
With 37 per cent of exhibitors coming from outside Italy, this year’s show proved once more the markedly international character of Autopromotec.
Strategically located between the stands of Lassa’s distributors in Northern and Central Italy, Lassa’s own stand attracted a lot of attention from the local and international visitors in the Show. Potential customers from various countries and representatives of existing distributors visited Lassa stand and expressed great interest.
“Autopromotec is a must-attend trade exhibition for Lassa as it provides an invaluable opportunity to showcase our wide range of consumer and commercial tyres to such a concentrated audience. This year’s show proved to be a very successful event on our part. Our team had the chance to have warm communication with distributors, their sales team and dealers to get to know our customers better. The show was closed establishing new business connections and strengthening our existing relations even more,” stated Halit Şensoy, Director of Lassa International Sales and Marketing.
Approved by TÜV SÜD
The main focus of the bespoke designed Lassa stand at Autopromotec was the Competus H/P, a new 4×4 tyre and Phenoma, Lassa’s new sports segment tyre.
Both of them were tested and approved by German TÜV SÜD, one of Europe’s leading testing and certification organizations, for their outperforming “total road performance results” as “test winner”.
Tested against five competitors in March 2010, the Competus H/P performs up to 11 per cent better in lateral wet grip. Its wet and dry handling performances are better by 5 per cent and 2.5 per cent respectively while its aquaplanning resistance is 4.4 per cent better than that of its competitors. Competus H/P braking distance is 2m shorter in the wet and 1m shorter on dry surfaces than the competitors. With the rolling noise level test result of 69dB, Competus H/P also presents an ultra silent drive for the comfort seekers.
Developed by the Research and Development Centre of Brisa based on the know-how gained from the experiences of award winning Lassa Rally Team since 2002, Phenoma was tested against four competitors in December 2010. It delivered 2.9m shorter dry braking distance, up to 2 per cent better dry handling and 5 per cent better wet handling performances as well as 3 per cent better lateral wet performance than its competitors. Phenoma also has 8 per cent better rolling resistance.
