According to company representatives, the operation consists of a marketing office and warehouse, which contains 4-5 container loads of stock and achieves about the same amount in throughput.

At the exhibition T&A met with Emrald Resilient Tyre Manufacturers PVT. Ltd. CEO and joint managing director V Krishnaram, AS Rajesh, business head Middle East and Africa for Emrald and D Eswarakrishnan, senior vice president marketing. Opportunities for the industrial tyre business
Beginning his enthusiastic Automechanika Academy presentation on “opportunities for the industrial tyre business” with a reference to comments made by Al-Dobowi chairman Surender Kandhari, Emrald Resilient Tyre Manufacturers PVT. Ltd. CEO and joint managing director V Krishnaram said he was “happy to say we are a budget tyre” in all the best possible ways. He went on to explain that, as far as he is concerned, tyres from India and China perform the same if not better than premium products.
According to the company, Emrald Resilient Tyre, is the largest exporter of industrial solid tyres from India. And in order to demonstrate both this and its technology level, the firm showed its five-layer based range of technology. This patent pending multi-layer approach sees the company construct tyres based on five layers rather than the conventional three and (having been initially released in 2003) is in-use worldwide. Further technological developments include increased emphasis on improving deflection quality of Emrald tyres, which improves both driving comfort and rolling resistance plus offers enhanced heat dissipation.
In addition, countries where the firm’s Greckster-branded products are being used include the US, Canada, UK and also countries in Europe, Middle East and the CIS. Emrald is a major exporter of trailer tyres (higher end sized tyres) for various national and international ports and the company ships its products to more than 60 countries across the globe.
Meanwhile AS Rajesh was all praise for the organisation of the event, commenting: “It was better than last year. We are thankful to the government of UAE for issuing the visas for people coming from India, Middle East and Africa just to attend Automechanika Middle East and we are looking forward to participate next year as well.”
