Tunbridge Wells HiQ franchise opens
Two local businessmen have opened the latest HiQ franchise to be added to the network, which now numbers over 150 UK branches. Former car dealership bosses Keith Hancock and Matthew Stone opened the new centre on Stag Road as part of a new business venture to increase HiQ’s prominence in Kent, eastern Sussex and Surrey. The Tunbridge Wells centre offers full servicing in addition to the normal fast fit activities.
Hancock said: “The HiQ brand is a refreshing approach to the car care business and I’m sure our customers will immediately see we are not like other fast fit outfits. Our emphasis is on genuinely good customer service and transparent, honest pricing.”
HiQ retail director Peter Tye said the duo’s experience in car dealerships would help HiQ develop its customer service initiatives: “Welcoming Keith and Matthew into our network is fantastic news for HiQ. They’ve both had very successful careers running prestige car dealerships so really know how to go that extra mile to give an outstanding customer experience.”
Stone commented that the duo had “designed our business to make the whole process [of car maintenance] as painless as possible,” while Hancock concluded: “I’m absolutely confident we will offer the best value car care in the area.”
