Servicing Stop branches out into online tyre retailing
Servicing Stop, the online vehicle servicing company that gained national prominence through its founders’ appearance on BBC Two’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ in 2009, has entered the online tyre retail business with its new website, Good4tyres.co.uk. In announcing the new venture’s launch, Servicing Stop states this will be “another customer centric endeavour” from entrepreneurs Oly and Toby Richmond.
“Servicing Stop just turned three years,” commented Oly Richmond. “We started it with an aim to revolutionise the automotive industry. In spite of many players coming in to market we consolidated our position. With our new venture we are trying to leverage our two main strengths; solid relationships with 1000+ garages and application of web technology to deliver excellent customer service.”
A wide range of tyres are offered through the Good4tyres website, including well-known brands such as Continental, Bridgestone, Toyo, Michelin, Dunlop, Pirelli, Firestone and Goodyear. Ordered tyres are sent to the fitting station requested by the customer; Servicing Stop reports having more than 750 tyre fitting stations nationwide at its disposal.
