Popular Firenza ST-05A tyre extends to larger sizes

It is now almost a year since Singapore-based distributor Stamford Tyre International launched its Firenza high performance asymmetric pattern tyres, adding it to the well-established directional ST-08, which continues to be available. Since its introduction, Stamford states that the Firenza ST-05A pattern has become an increasingly popular choice for drivers looking for a stylish looking tyre offering improved safety and comfort at high speed.

The ST-05A range complies with all current European tyre standards and has been specifically developed and produced for the UK and European mid-market sector, offering popular size options in both V and W ratings. Produced using Japanese technology, the tyre’s asymmetric pattern construction yields high grip levels on wet road conditions, alongside lower noise and rolling resistance.

Rob Henderson, Firenza business manager for the UK and Europe points out that the ST-05A is currently available in twenty six sizes ranging from fifteen to eighteen inches. However a further eight sizes inclusive of 19” and 20” are in the process of being developed and will be introduced soon, therefore increasing the range to thirty four sizes.

The ST-05A was launched at Reifen 2010 in Germany and since then has made impressive appearances at Brityrex 2010 in Manchester last October and more recently at Autopromotec 2011 in Italy.
