Pirelli appoints Mauro Pessi NAFTA region CEO
Pirelli has appointed Mauro Pessi as president and CEO of its South America region with immediate effect. According to the company, the move is intended to facilitate the “consolidation…development of Pirelli leadership in the growing markets of South America.” Meanwhile, in order to maintain continuity of Pirelli’s business strategy in North America, the firm has announcement that Pessi will retain the chairmanship Pirelli NAFTA Region.
As a result of the change Matteo Battaini has been appointed CEO of Pirelli Tire North America. Battaini’s 20 years experience as a manager with Pirelli include a strong background in demand planning, supply chain and product management.
