Pelmar 2011 conference to be held in Israel, Hagai Peled takes over
Pelmar Engineering Ltd has announced that its annual conference will take place Israel between 19 until 23 June 2011. The last conference was held from 12 – 13 February 2010 in Koln, Germany; held just after the Tire Technology Expo Cologne. The conference also marks the 45th Anniversary of the Pelmar Group and the change in management with Hagai Peled taking over as CEO from his father, Jacob Peled, who will remain as executive chairman of the group.
The entire management of the Pelmar Group from all its overseas branches will participate including those from India, Spain, Italy, Germany, UK, USA, China and Slovakia. According to the company, the main topics of the conference are the group’s accounts and reorganization following the last world economic crises and its affect on the tire and rubber industry.
At the same time discussions will be held on how to cope with the present influx and development of projects worldwide which followed the crises. There will also be an especially strong emphasis on green technology particularly on tyre and rubber recycling in which the group has recently invested quite heavily.
