Merityre celebrates golden jubilee

Merityre Specialists Ltd is celebrating the company’s golden jubilee having supplied tyres, batteries and exhausts to motorists for 50 years. The company was formed in Sunbury on Thames in 1961 and now operates 21 branches throughout Southern England.

Jolyon Pope, joint director of Merityre believes the company’s success is due to providing expert service from well located, efficient centres, combined with experienced staff: “Our success is down to enthusiastic, capable employees, many of whom have served up to 30 years with Merityre. We are dedicated to providing ongoing training programmes to keep the team fully up to date with the constantly changing technology in the automotive industry. As technology has developed so too has the range of products required for servicing and Merityre ensures that consistent training takes place in order to provide the very best level of service to our customers.”

Noel Pope, joint director of Merityre Specialists added: “The combination of friendly, expert service, availability of stock and competitive prices from smart, well-appointed outlets is what has made these past 50 years so rewarding, and it remains our intention to maintain the same values long into the future.”
