Double Coin OE on Landoll trailer range

The China Manufacturers Alliance has gained an OE position with Kansas-based manufacturer Landoll Corporation to supply all Landoll trailer models with Double Coin medium truck radials. Standard tyres to be fitted on Landoll’s trailer models include the Double Coin RT500 in sizes 10R17.5, 255/70R22.5, and 235/75R17.5.

“Landoll began using Double Coin’s 10R17.5 tyre and within a short period of time we knew the overall quality was better than what we had with our other suppliers,” said Jim Ladner, sales manager for Landoll’s Transportation Products Division. “I’ve talked to many customers and they’ve reported improved performance and less down time from Double Coin tyres so we wanted to carry that quality all the way to our customers.”

Ladner explained that Landoll customers have been using more of the 255/70R22.5 tyres on their removable gooseneck trailers. The 10R17.5 tyres have recently been replaced with a size 235/75R17.5 tyre for higher capacity. The higher capacity allows Landoll to offer a gross axle weight rating of 21,420 lbs. for their heavy haul customers operating permit loads over 80,000 lbs.
