1000th member joins Goodyear AGRI club
Some two years after Goodyear established its AGRI club to encourage the sharing of best practice and industry news throughout the UK's farming community, the tyre maker has welcomed the new 1000th member. This millennial number is Kaye Davies, who works 700 acres of mixed farmland including potato, wheat, barley and OSR crops plus cattle, sheep and pigs. She operates with 11 tractors. Davies signed up at an event at Farm Tyre Specialist dealer Llandovery Tyres in Dyfed.
“The AGRI club provides farmers like Kaye across the nation with offers and promotions relating to Goodyear products and events through the seasons. We are pleased to have signed up over one thousand farmers to the club and hope to increase this number as the year progresses” said Phil Stanton, Goodyear Farm Manager. “We want to build relationships with our end users, and the AGRI club, as well as our prominence at farming shows throughout the year is helping us to achieve this goal. Only by talking to our customers directly will we learn what they want from their tyres and it is a great way to inform them of our promotions which they usually wouldn’t be aware of.”
Goodyear invites those wishing to join the AGRI club to print out a registration form at the goodyear.co.uk website.
