YHPT introduces 20th anniversary-themed MAK wheel alongside two others
The UK distributor for MAK replacement alloy wheels, Yokohama HPT, says it is helping the manufacturer celebrate its 20th anniversary by introducing three new styles into the UK. These include the Venti (Italian for 20); a striking design intended to reiterate the company’s design flair and high quality production values.
The Venti, as the name suggests, features 20 narrowing spokes running from the flange to the very edge of the wheel rim to create an enhanced sense of size. However, more striking is the way the spokes are arranged with each pairing featuring an alternating colour scheme using MAK’s Ice Titan finish, to create a wheel that hints at motorsport inspiration but with cutting edge design and inherent Italian style.
The Venti is available in sizes from 15” to 18” in four and five-stud fitments to suit a wide range of vehicle applications.
The Raptor, on the other hand, features five asymmetric spokes that widen from the central flange as they approach and join the wheel rim. The spokes are cut-off where the meet the wheel rim, giving a hard-edged and thoroughly contemporary detail. The Raptor is designed for passenger cars and SUV’s and is available sized from 17” to 20” in five-stud and 16” to 20” for six-stud fitments. The Raptor is finished in Graphite Mirror, Hyper silver or Ice Superdark.
Finally, the all-new DTM-One is a motorsport-inspired design, featuring seven forked spokes, radiating from the substantial central flange to the edge of the wheel rim. The striking design and huge amount of space make the DTM-One ideal for cars which require an aggressive wheel and with large brakes. The DTM-One is available staggered sizes from 17” to 20”, in four and five-stud fitments and finished in Hyper Silver or Mat Black
Prices start at £90 plus VAT for the Venti and all three styles are available now through the Yokohama HPT nationwide dealer network or direct from Yokohama.
