Pirelli promotes two motorcycle tyres with cashback offer

Pirelli has announced a new cashback offer of £25 to UK riders purchasing sets of its Diablo Rosso Corsa or new Diablo Rosso II tyres. The hypersport segment Rosso Corsa, launched last year, is the Italian manufacturer’s “first tyre developed using technology and research gained as a direct result of Pirelli’s involvement in the World Superbike series,” it says, while the just-launched Rosso II – a sports tyre designed for road use – contains similar motorsport-derived technologies. The Diablo Rosso Corsa and Diablo Rosso II are available in the front size 120/70ZR17, with rear fitments: 160/60ZR17, 180/55ZR17, 190/50ZR17 and 190/55ZR17.

Pirelli lists the technologies contained within the Diablo Rossa Corsa: “III zone compound with WSBK shoulder grip and Enhanced Patch Technology, as well as its patented structural elements like its H-shaped bead and 0° steel belt with new High Performance Single Cord.” The manufacturer believes the Rosso Corsa to be “the most versatile hypersports tyre on the market”. The Diablo Rosso II also contains these technologies, while using a dual compound rubber construction for “sporty character with versatility and confidence irrespective of the weather or road conditions”.

Both tyres also offer riders the chance to personalise their sidewalls. Dedicated spaces on the sides of the front and rear tyres are specially constructed to accommodate labels created at Pirelli’s website. The personalisation kit contains an exclusive set of six tyre labels and the necessary adhesive materials to apply them to the tyres’ sidewalls.

To claim the £25 cashback, riders must complete a claim form voucher with proof of purchase of either set of tyres to Pirelli’s Moto Department in Burton-on-Trent. The offer runs from 1 May 2011 to 30 June 2011.
