NR Evans extend Bridgestone tyre supply agreement
Bridgestone UK Ltd has announced that it has extended its tyre supply agreement with NR Evans, based at Cross Hands. NR Evans Distribution is one of the biggest temperature controlled distribution companies in the UK, operating over 300 commercial vehicles and trailers from eight depots across the UK. They deliver over £500 million of chilled products every year.
Neil Evans, founder and managing director of NR Evans said: “NR Evans is very pleased to announce the renewal of the current tyre supply agreement with Bridgestone UK. Bridgestone has demonstrated its commitment to proactive tyre service through the Truck Point Network which, together with the mileage performance of Bridgestone tyres, will continue to help us to reduce our costs year on year”.
Greg Ward, commercial sales director of Bridgestone UK, added: “Bridgestone UK is very proud of its association with NR Evans, and we are delighted to have extended our tyre supply partnership. Bridgestone believes in offering a long term partnership with our fleet customers rather than just a supply agreement, and more fleets are seeing that this is the way to go for the future”.
