Cooper Tire appoints new UK sales director

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe has appointed Jason Clarke as its new UK sales director, effective of 1 April. Clarke, 41, has worked for Cooper Tire since 1998 and takes over the position following the retirement of Steve Cundy at the end of March. Clarke joined the Company in March 1998 as regional sales representative for Wales. He then became a regional sales manager for the Wales and Midlands region, before being promoted to the role of UK sales manager for retail accounts in 2006.

His most recent role has seen him double as the European subsidiary sales manager for Switzerland and European territories manager with responsibilities for the Benelux, Scandinavian and Austrian markets.

Clarke said, “Having gradually worked my way up through various sales positions within Cooper Tire, I’m delighted to now be entrusted with the UK sales director role. I feel our company is well placed to continue the positive results that have been achieved, and with the excellent team we have, I have every confidence in the future.”
