ATEQ torque tool to cost less than £50
ATEQ’s new torque tool offers precise measurement and control when tightening any torque-specific fixings. Its compact size allows smaller fasteners to be tightened by hand when a torque wrench is too large or too highly rated to be suitable.
The integrity, function and lifespan of any nut or bolt can be affected by either under or over-tightening, but this sturdily moulded tool offers a precise gradation of torque adjustment between 1 and 8 Nm, ensuring that technicians can quickly and easily achieve the perfect setting. Its fine adjustment is particularly useful when affixing sensitive componentry like tyre pressure sensors which must be torqued to a very precise figure. Too little and they can’t seal. Too much and they may shear.
The tool also features an integral lock, maintaining the precise torque setting even when under load, ensuring consistent fine adjustment. The unit is presented in a hard wearing case complete with 11mm and 12mm sockets and Torx driver. The universal square drive accepts also accepts many other 6mm drive tools to allow a wide range of fasteners to be accurately affixed.
Priced at just £48.51 + VAT, the ATEQ Torque Tool is an essential bit of kit for any professional or home mechanic, particularly anyone working with TPMS or consumer electronics.
