Hankook adverts back in Times Square
Hankook has returned to New York's Times Square. Once again the South Korean-based tyre maker has secured billboards in one of the most famous adversity locations in the world. The latest banner, presented once again in the form of the successful Ventus V12 evo high-performance tyre, is on the facade of the Marriott Marquis Hotel and is designed to “impress millions of visitors” this time for a whole year. Hankook says it is aiming to reinforce and develop its brand profile and image with the latest campaign.
According to the company, presenting themselves in the heart of New York was not a difficult decision to make. Hankook gained positive feedback from throughout the world for its first presentation (in October 2010) and was particularly praised for the unique and creative design.
“Hankook Tire is one of the fastest growing tyre manufacturers worldwide. It is therefore logical that we are renewing our presence on one of the most visited squares in the world”, explains Hyun Shick Cho, chief marketing officer at Hankook Tire. “With more than 1.5 million visitors each day, we are putting Hankook on one of the largest advertising stages. This campaign is a giant step forwards and also highlights our growing presence in the USA.”
