Yokohama to increase North American prices
Prices for Yokohama’s consumer segment tyres will increase by up to eight per cent as of March 1. Yokohama Tire Corporation says the price rise will include passenger car, high performance and light truck tyres and that other in-line adjustments will be announced at a later date.
“The price increase is due to the continued escalation of raw materials, as well as other costs associated with the manufacturing and transportation of consumer tyres,” said Shawn Denlein, Yokohama director of sales, Consumer Products. “We will continue to concentrate on utilising the latest technologies and operational procedures to produce the best products at competitive prices.”
