Supertracker “increases UK sales” in 2010
Supertracker has told Tyres & Accessories that it has experienced “a very successful twelve months during 2010”, in which it continued “an ongoing and upward trend year-on-year since 1987” when the company was formed. The company said its presence at a number of trade shows was a contributing factor in this, including an appearance at Brityrex 2010. When asked if fully-integrated machines were seeing a rise in interest, Supertracker representatives told T&A that while the company was not seeing increases in sales of these units, “it would be true to say they form a part of Supertracker's sales”. The company then pointed to its new product releases, including the launch of the STR410 and a Steering Angle Reset Tool.
The STR410 aligner incorporates SST technology to enable the steering wheel to be set correctly on every application whilst the steering angle reset tool resets the sensor to the correct wheel alignment settings. This maintains a vehicle’s driving dynamics remain at their peak, which Supertracker says “has already made an impressive impact in the industry through its simple, straight-forward step by step programme”.
Supertracker has installed more than 12,000 wheel aligners since it launched its first unit. Commenting on this number, director Trevor Lovesy stated: “There is no set formula, just good old fashioned attention to detail and listening to customers changing needs in the industry. Quite simply, we pride ourselves on meeting the exact needs of every individual customer in an increasingly demanding market.
“Every new piece of equipment is expertly produced with operator practicality and ease of use very much in mind and a guarantee of straight forward operation plus absolute minimum downtime as standard.”
Staff training also plays “an important role” at Supertracker, while it says “realistic servicing costs for both parts and labour resulting in consistent low running expenditure”, is also a major focus. Its “intensive and comprehensive training programme” is readily available to all Supertracker’s customers, including monthly sessions in theory and practice. The company says it is “firmly committed to taking future wheel alignment courses to the next level of direction, intensity and availability”.
Monthly courses in both practice and theory are available to existing Supertracker customers as well as any other company or individual. There is also the choice of attending courses at the company’s headquarter base in Southampton, or at individual company premises. This service is also available to any company or individual who considers they could benefit from expert tuition in wheel alignment and its potential problems.
Lovesy concludes: “At Supertracker we pride ourselves on working alongside each and every one of our customers giving them the reassurance of knowing that they are not only using top quality wheel alignment equipment but also have valuable technical back-up as and when required.”
